Nairobi Institute of Music and Performing Arts (NIMPA) is a tertiary institution established, registered, and licensed under the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Act and run by the PCEA Zimmerman Church. NIMPA is a world-class Christian institution that provides competency-based education and training in creative arts for the service of God and humanity. Our vision is to be an international center of excellence in the training of creative and performing arts. We nurture talents and develop technology-savvy professionals in creative arts through industry-driven practical training and the promotion of moral values. Currently, we are offering artisan courses, certificates, and diplomas in Music, Film, Theatre, Deejaying, Animation, Digital Journalism, and Graphic Design using TVET-CDACC approved curricula, developed for the Kenyan market. We achieve this through engaging qualified trainers, industry mentors, and by developing expandable modern facilities for training, among them a modern auditorium, music, and film production studios, and a well-equipped computer lab. We also network and collaborate with peer institutions and partners for talent development and
quality training. NIMPA is registered and licensed to offer twelve (12) CBET courses by TVET Authority and approved as a TVET-CDACC assessment center under number 0470106P. On average, 85 percent (85%) of our students get job placements upon completion.
